Photography as Attention

What photography teaches me about restraint, timing, and paying attention to small details.

Photography has become a useful counterweight to building software. It asks for patience before interpretation. The frame comes first, then the explanation.

That practice changes how I look at products too. Composition, contrast, hierarchy, and rhythm are not only visual decisions. They are decisions about what deserves attention.

The more I shoot, the more I appreciate restraint. A simple frame with one clear subject can carry more weight than a busy one trying to explain everything at once.
